Hi all,

We have designed a family of boards that use the dual-core DSP56721. On Freescale's advice, we bought Signalyzer USB->JTAG/ONCE probes and downloaded the Symphony-Studio development software.

Symphony-Studio doesn't work. Tech-support says it won't work, and told us to use the six-year-old Suite56 tools instead. But Suite56 does not support any USB JTAG probes, only parallel port probes. Our development systems have no parallel ports. Tech-support has yet to offer any solutions. They seem to be dragging this out, hoping I might go away.

So is any one else using a DSP567xx part?

How are you debugging the parts?
